Country singer-songwriter Cam says she has been recently experiencing something on stage that gives her goosebumps … fans singing her song back to her.
Cam’s song “Burning House” keeps climbing the country singles charts and gaining her more and more fans across the nation.
“In the last few weeks, now when I’m singing my song, I can stop singing and people will sing it back to me,” she told The Boot.
While that may seem like a normal thing to happen at concerts, it is something new for Cam to experience firsthand, “I know that sounds like something that maybe happens all the time to important people, but that’s the first time it’s happened to me. I get goosebumps.”
To Cam the experience is more than just the audience knowing the words to her song, “Everyone’s face, they’re wearing the feeling they have when they hear the song. It’s like we’re having this moment together,” she shares.
Get used to this phenomenon Cam. I have a feeling there will be many more songs that the audience sings along with you on down the road.
