Thomas Rhett wanted to go big to launch his new album Tangled Up and what is bigger than hosting the world’s biggest game of Twister?

Thomas Rhett’s sophomore album will be released tomorrow (9/25). However, yesterday (9/23) the singer-songwriter was at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas with some friends to have some fun.

The crews put together 1,200 custom Twister boards to create one huge game board at AT&T Stadium that covered half of the field. Then, the game began with hundreds of fans joining in and getting “Tangled Up” (get the connection to the album name there?).

A representative from the Guinness Book of World Records was there to witness the game that lasted more than an hour and certify that it broke the record. The previous record was set in 2011 by a university in the Netherlands.

B104-NASH Nights personality Shawn Parr was on hand for the event as you can see in the photo at the top of the page and in the video below.

The event also served as an album release party with Thomas Rhett performing the songs from his new album Tangled Up for the participants after the record was set.
