The group Old Dominion is getting national attention with their single “Break Up With Him.” Find out more about the band and watch the music video.
The group consists of five members; lead singer Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen on guitar and keyboard, Whit Sellers on drums, Geoff Sprung on bass, and Brad Tursi on guitar. The group has been described as a country-rock band with pop and hip-hop overtones.
The individuals have written songs for other artists including “Chainsaw” for The Band Perry, Dierks Bentley‘s “Say You Do,” Chris Young‘s “Neon,” as well as songs for Kenny Chesney and the ABC musical drama Nashville.
Now the group’s own single is gaining them attention with country music fans. “Break Up With Him” is currently approaching the top ten sitting at #12 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and #13 on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart. The song is from their debut studio album Meat and Candy scheduled for release November 6th.
The group spent the summer opening for Kenny Chesney’s “2015 Big Revival Tour” and will join him on tour again in 2016.
