The new album from the reigning CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year sold over 320,000 copies in the first week of release. That was enough for Luke to debut at #1 on not only the Billboard Country Album sales chart but also the Billboard 200 all-genre chart.

Kill The Lights is Luke’s fifth studio album and becomes his third consecutive Billboard 200 #1 debut. The total albums sold also gives Luke the 3rd largest album debut of 2015 behind R&B/Hip Hop releases from Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

Luke also now scores the highest debut of a country album in the past two years since his own Crash My Party debuted at #1 in August of 2013.

The album has already produced a #1 single with the debut single “Kick The Dust Up.” The second single from the album “Strip It Down” is already at #23 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart in the two weeks since it was released. Listen for both songs on B104.

Congratulations to Luke Bryan on the #1 debut of his new album Kill The Lights.
