Tim McGraw decided that since his new single is called “Top Of The World” it would be appropriate to debut it through the International Space Station (ISS) with NASA Astronauts.
Earlier this week Tim and his band recorded a short video that featured a clip of the new single from his forthcoming new studio album. He then posted the video to Twitter and addressed it to the NASA Astronauts on the ISS.
Hey @NASA, astronauts on @Space_Station might enjoy my new song. Check it out https://t.co/326YY3RPsB

The astronauts responded through the official Twitter account of the ISS.
Thanks, @TheTimMcgraw! You’re on #TopOfTheWorld…we orbit around it. Look up & #SpotTheStation: http://t.co/oSsWTXxc2M pic.twitter.com/msr8u78VQ2

Tim next invited the guys to attend his next concert, kind of…
.@Space_Station Maybe you’ll fly over my next concert. We love what you’re doing up there, pushing humanity forward. Keep up the great work! — Tim McGraw (@TheTimMcGraw) August 3, 2015
Astronaut Scotty Kelly then used his personal Twitter to accept the invitation and share a special picture from zero gravity.
.@TheTimMcGraw Maybe! Let me know where. Appreciate your support from #TopOfTheWorld on @Space_Station! #YearInSpace pic.twitter.com/b1GTnfxKiA
