Blake Shelton filmed an interview with ET just two days after the news of his divorce from Miranda Lambert went public.

The interview was with Brad Paisley also to promote the upcoming season nine of “The Voice” in which Brad will serve as a mentor to Blake’s team. The interview remained about the TV show.

However, as Sophie Schillaci prepared to begin the interview she asked Blake what was in his cup. Blake responded, “A little vodka. I thought I’d go ahead and get started. It’s one of those weeks.”

The ET interview aired and was posted to YouTube earlier this week (8/3).
