Miranda Lambert made her first public appearance since the news of her divorce from Blake Shelton broke when she joined Ashley Monroe on stage in Nashville.

Ashley was performing at a listening party for her new album The Blade, in stores today (7/24). The party was an invitation only event that took place at a club in Music City called The Basement.

Miranda joined her friend, co-member of the girl group Pistol Annies and song co-writing collaborator to perform the song they penned together “Heart Like Mine.” The song is one of Miranda’s #1 singles.

It appears that the performance was a spur of the moment decision since Miranda was not all gussied up for it wearing as she put it just her “Target dress.” However, the two singer-songwriters sounded great in the performance as you can see and hear for yourself in the video above.

Miranda has some more time out of the spotlight to let the buzz over her and Blake’s divorce settle down some  since her website lists her next scheduled concert as Tuesday, July 28th in Nashville.

Blake was in Hollywood filming for the upcoming new season of “The Voice” while the news of the divorce broke according to his Twitter account. He also has shows this weekend at Country Jam USA in Eau Claire, WI (7/24) and Country Thunder in Twins Lakes, WI (7/25) according to his website.
