Canaan Smith scored his first #1 single this week so Dierks Bentley, Kip More and Maddie & Tae surprised him on stage during his set on the “Sounds of Summer Tour.”
Dierks gathered his crew and opening acts Kip Moore and Maddie & Tae to help commemorate Canaan’s first ever #1 single “Love You Like That” at the Washington D.C. stop of the “Sounds of Summer Tour.”
The group put on white painter overalls that they had written Canaan’s name, #1 and some extra decorative markings on. Then, the group crashed the stage while Canaan was singing the chart topping song live.
Dierks posted a clip of the stunt on his Twitter account which you can watch below.
A fan captured the entire stunt from the audience and posted it on YouTube which you can also watch below.
I’m sure this will be an extra part of Canaan’s first ever #1 single that he will never forget!
