Sunday Night Football revealed through Twitter that Carrie Underwood will return for another season of signing the opening theme song for the show.

Carrie will be back for her third year of singing the opening theme for the weekly NFL game. Faith Hill sang the show opening theme song for six years prior to Carrie and pop/rock singer Pink handled the duty for one year before Faith.

The song is a rewritten version of the Joan Jett hit “I Hate Myself For Loving You.” For the Sunday Night Football purpose the song has the title “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night.”

Sunday Night Football posted the inset picture above of Carrie on their Twitter account along with the message; “Great to have @carrieunderwood back for another season of #SNF.”

Carrie responded by retweeting their message and picture with her own message; “Had so much fun shooting this yesterday!!!”

We will get to see Carrie Underwood’s 2015 version of “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” at the start of NBC’s weekly broadcast of Sunday Night Football throughout the NFL season.
