Dustin Lynch is out on Luke Bryan‘s “Kick The Dust Up Tour” and apparently has ruined Luke’s favorite fishing spot.
Dustin says he has been loving being on the road with Luke. Part of the reason is that the headliner has an “open door” policy with his opening acts; “You know, Luke’s bus door is always open and you can always just walk up and hang out. We’ve gone fishin’ together and we’ve played basketball together. Just come up and have a good time.”
One has to wonder if Luke will take Dustin fishing again after hearing the story of the fly fishing excursion the two shared. Apparently Luke took Dustin to his secret fly fishing spot; “He was bragging about this fishin’ spot he had in Idaho and he said, ‘Man this is probably one of the best fishin’ spots I’ve ever been to and blah blah blah,’ and we get out there and we had about five hours to fly fish.” Dustin posted the picture to the right of the secret fishing spot to his Twitter account.
However, the day did not turn out like it had previously for Luke at his secret fishing spot. Perhaps it was just a bad fishing day or maybe it was because this was Dustin’s first time fly fishing. “This was probably my first time fly fishing and I don’t know if it was like because I’ve never fly fished or what, but we didn’t catch a fish (laughs)! So, I don’t know, hopefully he’ll take me again.”
Luke apparently is having some fun at Dustin’s expense blaming the bad day of fishing on the greenhorn fly fisherman; “He’s ridden me about that up on stage I think about five times now, (how) I wrecked his favorite fishin’ spot in America,” Dustin shares, adding; “He’s always got some sort of thing to throw at me. I take it all in stride; don’t get to me at all.”
Sounds like Dustin has made a real friend with Luke if the two are fishin’ and funnin’ together.
