A man in France took is ultralight airplane up for a flight when he discovered a cat was hiding in his airplane wing … AFTER he had already taken off!

An ultralight is a cross between a hang glider and an airplane. This Frenchman was out for a flight with a friend when a cat emerged from the left wing once the two were high in the air.

The entire event was caught on video (above) by a camera the man had mounted on the dash of the aircraft. You see the cat begin to come out of the wing at about 39 seconds in the video. The viral video has already been viewed more than 7.2 million times!

The translation of the message posted with the video reads: “Routine baptism until … the importance of looking into the wings before each flight.”

The cat stayed put until the man landed the aircraft safely back at the airfield before jumping back to good old Mother Earth.

You can bet that from now own part of this guy’s pre-flight check list will be; Remove any cats or other animals from inside the wings.
