Brett Eldredge was on Late Night with Seth Meyers (6/1) where he announced the title and release date for his sophomore album.

Brett performed the first release “Lose My Mind” from his new album. He revealed on the show that the new album will be titled Illinois after his home state. The album will be released Friday, September 11th.

Brett also expressed his excitement about the new album with the title and release date on his Twitter account.

Brett is the reigning CMA New Artist of the Year is hoping that his sophomore album will pick up where his first album Bring You Back left off. That album has Brett enjoying a streak of three consecutive #1 single; “Don’t Ya,” “Beat Of The Music” and “Mean To Me.”
