The group called A Thousand Horses has taken their debut single “Smoke” to #1 on the Billboard chart this week.

The advanced Billboard Country Airplay chart is out and “Smoke” has made the move to the number one spot on the chart.

Michael Hobby (lead vocals), Bill Satcher (lead guitar), Zach Brown (guitar and vocals), and Graham Deloach (bass and vocals) are enjoying the first chart topped of their career with their very first single released.

Michael said of hitting the #1 mark with their first single; “I mean absolutely unbelievable and amazing to have a number one song especially our first song out of the gate as a brand new artist. You know it’s very humbling and we’re very grateful for it, it’s pretty unbelievable after this long of being a band together. You know it’s a great moment we’re still taking it in you know it’s still very much a pinch me moment but it’s pretty amazing.”

“I think in our wildest dreams we would not have expected this so this is just unbelievable,” Graham added.

Timing for the #1 single couldn’t be better for the group as it comes in the week leading up to the release of their debut album. Southernality will be released to at music  stores and digital outlets everywhere Tuesday, June 9th.
