Luke Bryan will premiere a new song called “Kick The Dust Up” on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” and the season finale of “The Voice” Tuesday, May 19th.
The news was revealed on Twitter account of “The Voice” earlier today (5/13).
The link in that post takes you to a blog post on the USA Today website that reveals that the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year will appear on both TV shows Tuesday to perform the previously unreleased song.
The song is also the title of Luke’s current tour which kicked off last week. Apparently Luke has been opening his concerts with the song. Luke told USA Today that he has never before used an unreleased song to open his set before, but: “That’s how confident we are in the song being pretty awesome. We figured the socials would start lighting up and people would start learning the words. Once it hits radio, people will catch on real quick.”
The song will be on Luke’s new album which will be released later this year.
What I wonder about Luke being on “The Voice” season eight finale is this … will we see a three-way bromance between Luke, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine begin?
