This past Saturday was the 23rd annual ‘Stamp Out Hunger’ put on by mail carriers all over the country. Mailman Al joined us last Friday and told us about the goal here in Bloomington – Normal. They were hoping for around Seventy thousand pounds for area food pantries.
Just got news today that Bloomington – Normal, has raised over eighty three thousand pounds. Congratulations to all of our mail carriers and a big thank you to all of you who put out your non – perishable food items.
