Blake Shelton has named himself head coach for #TeamMiranda and is trying to get his wife Miranda Lambert the win for ACM Entertainer of the Year.

Miranda is in the category along with Jason Aldean, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line. The category is one of two that fans get to help decide by casting votes at VoteACM.com. (The other category is New Artist of the Year with finalists Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett and Cole Swindell.)

Blake has decided to do what he can to help his wife win the biggest award of the 50th ACM Awards this Sunday night. One of the ways he is helping is by trying to rally his 11.8 million followers on Twitter to cast votes for Miranda.

His first tweet was:

Even as he was waiting to find out if his three artists on “The Voice” would make the top 10, he made a pitch for Miranda’s win:

We will all see if Blake’s lobbying helps Miranda Lambert win the ACM Entertainer of the Year Award when the 50th ACM Awards airs live from Texas this Sunday, April 19th from 7pm to 10:30pm central time on CBS TV with Blake and Luke Bryan co-hosting the show once again.
