The 2015 Illinois State Fair has announced that country music legend Hank Williams Jr. will be performing. Country fans can also get the Country Concert Blowout package!
Hank Williams Jr. will round out the 2015 Grandstand line-up with his concert Friday, August 21st. Joining Hank Jr. to open the show will be legendary southern rock band .38 Special. Tickets for this individual show will range from $47 for VIP seats to $25 for Tier 3 seats.
Tickets for all named grandstand acts will go on sale at 10am on Saturday, April 18ththrough Ticketmaster.
With that concert the 2015 Illinois State Fair will now feature four nights of country music including headliners Justin Moore (8/16), Rascal Flatts (8/18), Hank Jr. (8/21) and Brantley Gilbert closing the state fair (8/23).

SPRINGFIELD – Officials with the Illinois State Fair have put together a money saving deal for country music fans. This year the “Country Concert Blowout” package gives fans the opportunity to attend three of the hottest shows of the summer for a reduced price. The Country Concert Blowout includes a general track ticket and state fair admission for 3 great nights of concerts.
The concerts assigned to the Country Concert Blowout include:
– Sunday, August 16th – Justin Moore / Josh Thompson / Jon Pardi,
– Tuesday, August 18th – Rascal Flatts / Scotty McCreery / Raelynn,
– Friday, August 21st – Hank Williams Jr. / 38 Special.
The Country Concert Blowout package is $99 and can only be purchased through the Illinois State Fair Office, which is located inside the Emmerson building. The package goes on sale Monday, April 20that 9:00 am. Tickets can be purchased at the Emmerson building Monday-Friday from 9:00am – 3:00pm. Only 1,000 tickets are available for the Country Concert Blowout package, and those tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.
Hank Williams Jr. is the latest act to join the Illinois State Fair Grandstand line-up. “The staff at the Illinois State Fair works very hard each year to bring in quality acts and offer reasonably priced tickets.
