Blake Shelton’s latest single “Lonely Tonight” with Ashley Monroe has been certified Gold by the RIAA. All Access reports that this is Blake’s 18th Gold single of his career.
Just a few weeks after the song became the 14th consecutive #1 single for the country music and TV star, sales of the single reached the 500,000 mark to earn the GOLD certification.
Blake has quite a collection of heavy metal, and I am not talking about the guns and bows that he hunts with.
Blake has already amassed three RIAA certified Platinum albums for sales of more than one million copies. He also has five Gold albums, seven Platinum singles with three of those reaching Double Platinum status.
Blake is currently in his eight season as a coach on “The Voice” on NBC.
Blake will be joined by Luke Bryan as they return to co-host the 50th Annual ACM Awards Show April 19th which will be broadcast live on CBS.
Congratulations to Blake Shelton and Ashley Monroe on the Gold certification for “Lonely Tonight.”
