Taylor Swift has been in the news lately, when isn’t Taylor in the news? I believe when you become a big talent that there are some people that do all they can to ride your coat tails. Then people love to make claims on your success to help their cause. That’s when the celebrity’s have to protect themselves and it appears Taylor Swift is going through that now.
Taylor Swift is threatening to sue Ronnie Cremer, a computer repairman and part-time musician who claims he taught the 25-year-old singer how to play guitar. He says he received a letter this week from her lawyers demanding he shut down his website ITaughtTaylorSwift.com.
I almost feel like they were trying to bully me a little bit,
He told The New York Daily News.
I'm not giving back the domain name. I mean, Go Daddy sold it to me.
In the past, Taylor has claimed that by ‘his magical twist of fate,’ a computer tech repairman visited her home, spotted her guitar and offered to teach her a few chords. Cremer says he actually worked with Taylor for two years after being recruited by her parents, and that her father recently unfriended him on Facebook.
It’s a nice accomplishment to be a part of the history for Taylor Swift, but one also needs to make sure we don’t take that too far. It’s great you taught her some things, but don’t make money off her name unless it’s approved.
