Hunter Hayes has added a new member to his family and introduced him to the world on YouTube. Meet Cole, Hunter's rescue dog.

Hunter reveals that Cole is a retired racing greyhound. Taste of Country reports that Cole was adopted from the Greyhound Pets of America’s Nashville location.

According to Hunter, Gole is a patient and mellow dog that is really fast. Included in the video introduction is some footage of Cole running in Hunter's backyard to demonstrate his speed.

Hunter also used the video to give his band a "heads-up" that Cole will be joining them on the road as the new bus dog.

Cole didn't seem to be too excited about being on camera as he did not do what Hunter says he does when he is excited. Cole also seemed to know that the segment was over when you see what he does as Hunter is wrapping up the shoot.
