Cole Swindell was one of 14 songwriters that were honored by the Country Music Association (CMA) in Nashville yesterday (2/3) for their skills with lyrics and music.

 

The songwriters were given the CMA Triple Play Award at a luncheon in Music City. The award honors the songwriters that wrote or co-wrote at least three songs that hit #1 within a 12 month period.

 

Cole scored two chart toppers for himself and one for his friend and fellow country singer-songwriter Thomas Rhett.
