As the northeastern United States prepare for a major snowstorm you can watch a live snow cam from New York City here.
Weather forecasters are saying that from New York north to Canada as much as three feet of snow could fall in areas. With the snow will come freezing rain and winds approaching hurricane force according to the forecasts.
That has already prompted Boston and New York City to cancel at least 6,000 flights according to NBC News. Major airlines are saying that practically no flights will leave or arrive during the brunt of the storm tonight and into tomorrow where the storm does hit.

Officials are saying that the storm will hit fast and hard and residents in the path of the blizzard are being strongly urged to stay inside until after it has passed.
