Championship week continues with a call this morning from the smack talking radio station morning show in Fargo North Dakota. Faith and I were coerced into making a bet. When we win the FCS Championship they’ll have to run around their station office in Redbird gear maybe even singing the fight song. It’s the same for Faith and I if the outcome is different. Thank goodness Coach Brock Spack showed up to calm the waters a little.

Coach Spack joined us to talk about the game and how the guys are doing with this weather. We also talked about how the weather at game time in Frisco, Texas will be a mix of sleet & snow with highs in the low 30s. Coach said;

Well that’s great because that’s what our practices have been.

The Illinois State Redbirds leave for the FCS Championship in Frisco, Texas on Wednesday and we get to send them off at 3pm at the Kaufman building and there will be plenty of viewing parties. Go Redbirds!!
