The Orange Bowl was a big stage for award winning Little Big Town. The halftime show was delayed due to the success of a Hail- Mary pass and the stage had to be carried back off the field for an extra point.

Little Big Town fans were upset because once the stage was put back and the band started playing coverage on ESPN was less than a minute. The sports mega channel went into commercials. Fans were outraged and took to social media outlets right away to complain.

I don’t know if that’s written in their agreement, but the group hasn’t comment on it at this time and has taken the high road. Little Big Town reminds me of so many great groups over the years and the talent level is huge. If that was Garth Brooks or Kenny Chesney one has to wonder if that happens. I didn’t think it was fair. Football fans who tuned in to the Capital One Orange Bowl probably didn’t notice, but country music football fans sure did.
