Toby Keith has a Somewhat Real Music Video for ‘Drunk Americans’

If you haven't seen the music video for Toby Keith's latest sing "Drunk Americans" you might want to watch it here. It definitely a "Big Dog Daddy" style music video.

The music video is set in the fantasy bar called the "Toby's I Love This All-American Star Spangled Bar" which one can only imagine is based on Toby's actual chain of restaurants "Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill."

The music video features "representations" of real-life personalities as well as some fictitious characters based on real-life-every-day people and even animals. For example, there is a scene that could be the biginning of a joke with Toby serving a nun, penguin, skunk and panda. Among other real-life people "represented" in the video you will see Willie Nelson, Jimmy Buffett, Barack Obama, Michael Jackson, Abraham Lincoln and several other American presidents.

Some may call the music video irreverent. However, I challenge you to watch the video and really listen to the lyrics and you just might discover that Toby is making his own statement about pop culture, politics and real life that we all need to relax a little more and not take every little thing too seriously. At least that is what I get from it.

The song is from Toby's new album 35mph Town that will be released in 2015.
