The Final Four are set on season seven of "The Voice" and it is going to be a battle between the only two coaches to be in every season for the win, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine.
Last night (12/9) on the live show it was revealed that Team Blake's Craig Wayne Boyd and Team Adam's Matt McAndrew and Chris Jamison were automatically voted through to the finals on "The Voice."
Following that announcement the nine artists from the top 12 that had been eliminated were given the chance to sing one more time to try to become the first ever "Wild Card" artist in the finals with a chance to win the competition.
Voting began after the show and was open through 3am eastern time. The results were tallied and Carson Daly revealed the winner of the "Wild Card" spot in the finals this morning on the Today Show. Team Adam's Damien became the first ever "Wild Card" finalist.
As a Team Blake supporter I was hoping that one of his two artists would get that second chance at the finals. However, I will say that it is more appropriate that one of the two artists that made the top five and were eliminated just last night became the "Wild Card."
The four artists will perform a duet with their coach Monday night and an original song that has been written for them. Then, it will be up to the viewers to vote and determine the winner of season seven of "The Voice."
The season seven finals on "The Voice" begin at 7pm central time Monday, December 15th on NBC.
