Redbirds Women’s Baskektball Coach Stephanie Glance Talks About ‘Play 4 Kay’ [VIDEO]

The Redbirds Women’s basketball team is playing a special game on Sunday afternoon. Its ‘Play4 Kay’ in honor of Kay Yow who passed away in 2009 after her third bout with breast cancer. Redbirds Coach Stephanie Glance talks about the event.

ISU Women’s basketball coach Stephanie Glance coached with Kay Yow for 15 years at NC State and she said Kay was not only a Hall of Fame coach, but a Hall of Fame person. They play Northern Iowa on Friday at Redbird Arena starting at 6pm.

Then this Sunday is the Play 4 Kay event at 2:05pm against Bradley. There will be a special event  for cancer survivors. Coach Glance joined JD & Kevin this morning to talk about her time coaching with Kay Yow and ISU Women’s basketball.
