Kevin’s Take on the Super Bowl

Super Bowl Sunday is always a sad day for me because it marks the end of the NFL season.  I will try to get through this without crying.

In a rematch of the 2006 Super bowl, the New York Giants take on the New England Patriots.  That year, the Giants shocked an unbeaten Patriots team.  I remember that day because there was an ice storm and a lot of people were without power.  Fortunately I relocated from Lexington and watched the game at Maguires downtown, where there was lots of electricity….and beer. 

Fast forward to this year.  This is a great matchup.    Both offenses can score at will.  I think this year if you are in a square “number pool”, any number could come up.  If you get a 5 or a 2, don’t sweat it.  With all the points that probably will be scored, anything could happen.

Who will win the game?  To me it is a toss-up.  The Giants defense is better, but the Patriots have revenge on their side.  I WILL make this prediction…the game will be decided on the last play.  What do you want for nothing?!!
