El Paso Mother Talks About Her Experience with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital [AUDIO]

Tammy Ummel’s life as Meghan’s mom consisted of volleyball games and school events. Meghan came to her suffering from headaches that eventually were waking her up in the night and their whole world was about to change.

Meghan Ummel was diagnosed with a form of brain cancer at the age of 13 and less than a year later she was gone. Today Meghan would be 23 and her mother talks about seeing her friends getting married and graduating from college. It does make her wonder what life would be like for Meghan.

Tammy and her family still support St. Jude today and she joined JD & Kevin this morning during B104′s radiothon to talk about Meghan and St. Jude.
