Dierks Bentley Plays Hockey with JD & Kevin

Dierks Bentley rocked U.S. Cellular Coliseum Thursday night. Thursday afternoon he hit the ice at the Pepsi Ice Center. B104′s JD and Kevin were joined by members of the Bloomington Police and Fire Departments and the Bloomington PrairieThunder. Check out more including a video of the fun after the break.

Dierks Bentley talked with our sister station WJBC about why he likes a little hockey before a show.

“It’s nice, it’s a chance to step away from doing interviews and all that stuff , to play hockey and have fun,” said Bentley.

Bentley said he started to play hockey about 10 years ago. He even compared the game to some of his performances.

“I think our show is kind of like a hockey game a little bit. We have six guys on the ice, guys on the stage, we kind of approach it the same way. We want to get out there and get a win.”
