Could Brad Paisley Or Zac Brown Win An Oscar?

The Oscars are set for February 26th and Brad Paisley and Zac Brown are both potential Oscar nominees for Best Original Song. Brad wrote and recorded ‘Collision of Worlds’ for Cars 2 and Zac Brown co-wrote ‘Where The River Goes’ for the Footloose soundtrack.

Nashville Kat had all the details and wouldn’t it be great if Zac Brown did win? He and his band have been shut out from the major country award shows the past year even though they have 8 number one songs already.

Brad Paisley has the movie star connections since his wife is an actress and he’s pretty good buddies with William Shatner. I’m not sure Captain Kirk can help him get an Oscar, but it certainly can’t hurt. We’ll find out if Brad and Zac get the nomination Tuesday, January 24, 2012.

The award ceremony will be held Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood and air on ABC.
