There’s something for everyone on this list of the top five best playgrounds in Bloomington-Normal.
TIPTON PARK
There are some kids where all they want is to slide, get wet and climb. Tipton Park is perfect. They offer a water spray area where the kids can get wet and run into the playground with their suits on and not have to dry off. The swings and slides are a lot of fun for all ages.
O’NEIL PARK
If you have kids of different ages to entertain, then you’ll want to try O’Neil Park. It has fun rock climbing wall for the little ones and just the right slides. The older kids can enjoy O’Neil Park as well with a skate park, pool with a High Dive and Baseball and Softball Diamonds and a nice lake.
MILLER PARK
Miller Park is the obvious choice for most families because it offers a picnic area nice playground with a twisting slide, cool swings, and a nice lake. We also need to remind you of the popular Miller Park Zoo. You could spend the day at Miller Park and won’t be disappointed.
ANDERSON PARK
Anderson Park is right off of College Avenue that has a trail for the family to walk and a picnic area with a fun playground that the kids climb and slide on.
When the kids are done playing on the playground area they can have fun at the waterpark and they won’t even have to cross a busy street.
FAIRVIEW PARK
Fairview Park is absolutely amazing with its beautiful views, and fun playgrounds that have slides and swings for smaller kids on one and a larger playground for the older kids. Fairview offers a ball diamond, picnic area, skate park and a wonderful waterpark. you can spend the whole day at Fairview Park.
