If you are a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe ( and c’mon, who isn’t?) then you have probably been keeping up on the Netflix side of the project. Characters Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist are now teaming up to form “The Defenders”!

The new trailer debuted this morning and, I’ll be honest, I’m in! Daredevil is probably my favorite character in the Marvel Netflix side stories and anytime he is around, I will be tuning in. As you will see in the trailer, something is about to go DOWN in New York City, and it is up to this motley crew to kick butt, talk smack, and save the day. ‘The Defenders’ drops on August 18

Marvel has done such an amazing job of character development with each character having already had at least one season (Daredevil has two) to themselves before joining up with ‘The Defenders’. Marvel, has done the same thing with the Avengers. This allows them to jump right into the action. WHICH! Speaking of that, it looks like veteran actress Sigourney Weaver is the evil villain. August 18 can not get here soon enough!
