‘Today Show’ Pranks Guest Co-Host Darius Rucker [VIDEO]

The people at the Today Show decided to pull a prank on their celebrity guest co-host Darius Rucker and it brought him to tears!

Darius joined the morning news and entertainment show on NBC yesterday (1/25) at the anchor desk. The show talked about the new horror film Rings and how the makes of the movie used the character “Samara” from the movie to scare unsuspecting people to help promote the movie. They even showed a clip of the prank that was played.

Next they played a clip of how the Today Show used the same character to pull a similar prank on some of the TV show’s other hosts. Following that clip is when the show was able to scare the daylights out of their guest co-host. Darius was caught so off guard that he was actually teary-eyed from the prank.

The Today Show shared a clip of the whole prank vie their Twitter account that you can watch below.

Darius still isn’t all that humored by the whole thing as he shared the show’s post with the following message on his own Twitter account…

I have no doubt that Darius is just playing and has actually taken it all in stride.

Well done Today Show, well done.
