Last night (12/12) The Voice Final Four performed with the goal of becoming the winner of season 11.
Sundance Head, Billy Gilman, Wé McDonald and Josh Gallagher each sang a cover song, an original song and a duet with their coach. I checked the iTunes chart at 8:20 AM central time to see where the songs were ranked since that is one for of voting. The voting closes at 11 AM central time (12 NOON eastern time). So, as I point out each week, these numbers can change.
However, below are the performances from last night in the order they ranked on iTunes when I checked.
(iTunes Rank – Artist – Song – Team)
#1 – Sundance Head – “Darlin’ Don’t Go” – Team Blake
#2 – Sundance Head – “At Last” – Team Blake
#4 – Billy Gilman – “Because Of Me” – Team Adam
#5 – Billy Gilman – “My Way” – Team Adam
#6 – Josh Gallagher – “Pick Any Small Town” – Team Adam
#7 – Sundance Head & Blake Shelton – “Treat Her Right” – Team Blake
(Just a side note about this choice of a song, it was salute to Sundance’s father Roy Head, the original singer of the song.)
#9 – Wé McDonald – “Wishes” – Team Alicia
#11 – Wé McDonald – “Don’t Rain On My Parade” – Team Alicia
#12 – Josh Gallagher – “Jack & Diane” – Team Adam
#13 – Wé McDonald & Alicia Keys – “Ave Maria” – Team Alicia
#19 – Billy Gilman & Adam Levine – “Bye Bye Love” – Team Adam
#25 – Josh Gallagher & Adam Levine – “Smooth” – Team Adam
In addition to the songs listed above, I looked for songs from earlier in the season in the Top 100 on iTunes by the final four artists. The reason I did this is because all of the iTunes downloads count in this final vote to decide the winner of The Voice Season 11. Sundance Head (Team Blake) had seven other songs in the Top 100 on iTunes when I checked this morning. Billy Gilman had three songs ranked while Wé McDonald and Josh Gallagher each had a single addition song ranked in the Top 100 on iTunes when I checked.
This is only one method of voting, so the results may or may not be indicated here. However, based solely on the iTunes sales, an edge has to be given to Sundance Head with coach Blake Shelton followed by Billy Gilman with coach Adam Levine.
The final results will be revealed during at star-studded Season 11 Finale of The Voice tonight (12/13) starting at 7:00 PM central time (8:00 PM eastern time) on NBC.
