Garth Brooks is opening up more of his life to the fans by taking cameras where they have never been before, Inside #StudioG.

Garth used his Facebook account broadcasting a live video from his recording studio last night (7/11). The studio is called Allentown Studios and Garth explained how naming it that is in honor of his longtime friend, producer and mentor Allen Reynolds.

Garth plans on making Inside #StudioG a regular thing, as he says in this first installment he wants to have a regular “Monday night conversation” with fans.

From the house on 16th Ave. in Nashville that was converted to a recording studio, Garth shares some of the storied history of the studio that has been used by Elvis, George Jones and KISS just to name a few.

He also talks a little about his upcoming TV specials that will cover his Vegas shows and his Yankee Stadium concerts. He even shows a picture of the Yankee Stadium concert on his personal phone.

Garth explains that the new Inside #StudioG webcasts on Facebook will take fans through the recording process of his forthcoming new album. That behind the scenes look will also include actual songs being recorded at Allentown Studios. Perhaps we will even get to see some of the session work for the upcoming Christmas album that he and his wife Trisha Yearwood will be releasing.

When Garth first began his musical career, he did things his own way and blazed new trails on how to make a successful career in not only country music, but the music industry in general. While social media is not a new thing since Garth has come out of retirement, it appears that Garth will use it to again blaze new trails for how he connects with fans around the world. Watch the Inside #StudioG video below.

The coolest thing is while the technology use may be new, the action of the man is just what he’s always done, connecting with people … it’s just Garth being Garth.
