Luke Bryan announced the dates and cities for his Farm Tour 2016 and one of the dates is right here in Illinois!
For the eighth year Luke will set out on a special tour this fall. Luke grew up in a farming community in Georgia. He feels connected to communities like that around the country as a result. He made the decision to give back to those types of communities by doing a series of special concerts which he calls his Farm Tour.
Luke puts on these concerts at locations around farming communities and gives a portion of the proceeds from the concerts to local college scholarships through the “Luke Bryan Farm Tour Scholarship” to students from a farming family within the communities the tour plays.
This year’s Farm Tour will kick off October 5th in South Carolina and end right here in the Land of Lincoln with the final concert taking place in Effingham, Illinois October 15th. The Farm Tour 2016 will hit a total of eight cities over an 11 day period.
In addition to the actual Farm Tour 2016, Luke has revealed that this year he will also release a Farm Tour EP in conjunction with the tour which will also be released this fall.
Luke posted the tour dates in the picture above to his Facebook page along with the message, “Excited to be heading back out to the farms. Y’all get ready for #FarmTour2016 presented by Bayer, and my first ever Farm Tour EP, it’s going to be a great one.”
Ticket details for the Luke Bryan Farm Tour 2016 have not been released yet.
