Reba and Narvel Blackstock have separated after 26 years of marriage.

The Queen of Country Music made the announcement to fans on her website today.

“In a joint statement, Narvel Blackstock and Reba McEntire have announced that they have been separated for the past few months, after 26 years of marriage,” the statement reads.

The couple have not only been husband and wife, they have been business partners as well. The statement indicates that they will continue their professional relationship even though the personal one is ending, “Despite this being the end of their marriage, they continue to support each other. They have worked together for 35 years and will continue to do so.”

The statement ends with this request, “They have asked that you respect their privacy during this time.”

Reba shared the picture above with Narvel just last April with the message, “Birthday weekend in Phoenix!!” on her Facebook page.
