Lee Brice has reached the top with his working class anthem song “Drinking Class” to score back-to-back number ones.
Lee is an accomplished song writer having written songs for many country artists including Garth Brooks, Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney to name a few. However, in recent years he has been enjoying success with his own songs both written and sung by himself.
The advanced Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart is out and while Dierks Bentley topped the Billboard Country Airplay chart this week, Lee is at #1 on the Country Aircheck chart with “Drinking Class.”
The single is from Lee’s third studio album I Don’t Dance. The title track and debut single from the album also hit #1 last year and was just named the winner of the ACM Single Record of the Year at the 50th ACM Awards. That makes back-to-back number one singles for Lee and two-for-two on singles from the project.
“Drinking Class” becomes Lee’s fifth career chart topper as a singer.
Congratulations to Lee Brice on his #1 song “Drinking Class.”
